Main Street Biloxi Hosting Downtown ‘Blueprint Biloxi’ Investor Fair - April 21-23
Main Street Biloxi is planning an Investor Fair for the downtown area. The primary goal of the fair is to bring together local and outside investors, developers, and business owners in a two-day seminar. The Seminar will cover several topics including data on local economic trends, availabel downtowen properties, various financing alternatives and potentail tax incentives.
"Our hopes are that this investor fair will spark the interest of those in atttendance and spur further development in downtown Biloxi.
We are confident that with the presence of existing and future casinos, downtown Biloxi has a significant potential to attract the erer increasing walking traffic interested in additional, no-gaming activites, such as specialty retail shopping, dining, entertainment and various cultural attractions. This is a real opprotunity for investors and business owners interested in locating or relocating to the area. "The Main Street Program was established by the National Trust for Historic Preservation to assist with the problem of declining downtown business districts."
