Design Committee

• Develop streetscape and brick seating repair project for Rue Magnolia
• Formulate design plans for proposed Mahoney Park
• Develop redevelopment plans for Vieux Marche public plaza
• Relocation/reuse of downtown Caboose
• Design and find funding for redesigned Train Stop Shelter
• Develop plans for a dumpster enclosure project for Vieux Marche businesses
• Work with Coast Transit Authority on plans for a Rue Magnolia/Highway 90 bus stop

Economic Restructuring Committee

• Development and maintenance of downtown business inventory & available property database
• Identification of target businesses for recruitment
• Development of sales brochure/CD-Rom for prospective investors
• Research of feasibility of downtown incubator project
• Promotion of residential development in downtown district
• Promotion and development of tax incentives

Promotions Committee

• Organize Brown Bag Lunch concerts
• Host (3) family movie events
• Organize “Christmas in the City” promotion with merchants
• Secure Main Street banners for downtown area
• Develop and place co-op advertising in The Bay Press and other media
• Develop Retail/Restaurant Guide
• Promote Downtown Shopping Bag/Treasure Hunt
• Work to develop Saturday Farmers/Flea Market
• Organize downtown New Years Eve event
• Organize jazz concert with area musicians

Bylaws Committee

• Modify board structure to include Advisory Board with normal board members, and reflect current organization structure
• Review potential for 501©3 status
